Join us at Senior Services of Van Buren County for fun, engaging, and low-impact exercise classes designed specifically for adults 60 and older. Whether you're a beginner or have experience, we offer something for everyone!

WHAT WE OFFER


Chair Yoga

Seated and standing yoga class that focuses on flexibility, strength, breath, fluid movement and balance. This class is offered in May, July and September.

Core & Cardio

Focuses on  core strength, seated and standing, light cardio, stretching and strength.

Fitness Drumming   

Drumming class that puts the whole body in motion to improve cardiovascular fitness, range of motion and strength.

Line Dancing 

Choreographed steps to a variety of music, all levels of experience welcome.

Pilates 

Floor mat class with standing portion for increased core strength, muscle strength and increased range of motion

Pop Up Fitness         

Low impact, high energy movements to increase cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength.

Seated Strength

Full body seated strength and cardio training, balance work, improved mobility, and flexibility.

Standing Pilates       

Standing (or seated option) class to improve core and overall strength, fluid movement, improved balance, and posture (offered June, August)

Tai Chi                               

Series of gentle movements to improve posture and balance, improve joint mobility, and calm the mind through movement.

Welcome to Fitness  

 Experience multiple types of fitness offerings including an introduction to drumming, seated strength, core strength, stretching and low intensity cardio.

Yoga                                   

Floor mat class uses physical postures and breathing to improve flexibility and core strength, reduce pain, increase relaxation.
